  • Step 1: Admission Notification – The University announces the admission cycle on its website, notice boards, and other public platforms.

  • Step 3: Entrance Examination (PET) – Candidates must appear for the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) unless exempted. Total Marks: 100 (MCQ), Duration: 90 minutes, Syllabus: 50% Research Methodology + 50% Physics.
  • Step 4: Exemption – Candidates with UGC NET (JRF), CSIR NET, GATE, SET/SLET, or DST-INSPIRE fellowships are exempted from PET but must attend the Personal Interview.
  • Step 5: Personal Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview.
  • Step 6: Final Selection – Based on entrance test (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage).
  • Step 7: Enrollment Confirmation – Submit required documents and pay prescribed fees to receive enrollment confirmation.
