Eligibility

Admission Procedure

Entrance Exams:

1. Identify and Register for Relevant Entrance Exams

  • NIMCET: A national-level exam for admission into MCA programmes at National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
  • MAH MCA CET: A state-level exam for MCA admissions in institutions across Maharashtra.

2. Prepare for the Entrance Examination

University Admission Process

1. Notification of Admission Cycle

  1. Before the commencement of each admission cycle, the University issues a notification via:
    • Official website

2. Shortlisting of Candidates

  1. After the application deadline, a list of shortlisted candidates is:
    • Published on the University website
    • Displayed on notice boards, or
    • Communicated directly to the applicants

3. Provisional Admission for Awaiting Results

  1. Candidates awaiting results of their qualifying examinations are eligible to apply for provisional admission.
  2. Such candidates must:
    • Submit their previous year’s mark sheets to confirm eligibility.
    • Submit their qualifying examination results within one month of provisional admission approval.
  3. Failure to submit the required results within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the provisional admission.

4. Cancellation of Provisional Admission

  1. Provisional admission will be cancelled if:

    • The candidate does not achieve the required marks in the qualifying examination.

5. Application Rejection Criteria

  1. An application form may be rejected for the following reasons:
    • The candidate does not meet the University’s eligibility criteria.
    • The prescribed application fee has not been paid.
    • The application form is incomplete or lacks the signatures of the candidate and their parent/guardian (where applicable).
    • Supporting documents are not submitted within the specified timeframe.

6. Enrolment

  1. After submission of all necessary documents and fees, the University will assign the student an enrolment number.
