Overview
- Duration - 3 year
- Course Type - Full time
The three-year undergraduate BSc Computer Science degree, also known as B.Sc CS,
covers
the studies and subjects related to science, computer applications, and its
services.
This program's major goal is to develop qualified professionals and research fellows
who
can use computer technology to operate in any industry in the globe. Candidates can
learn about the many architectures connected to computer networking, operating
systems,
and programming languages during the three-year BSc Computer Science degree. A BTech
in
computer science can be replaced by a course. The candidates can save one year of
their
career compared to the engineering degree, which is one of the course's key
benefits.
Learning and Course Structure
The curriculum for the BSc Computer Science program is created in a way that fully
prepares
students for a job in the computer science and software sector. This course's curriculum
is
divided into six semesters. The students receive some of the most significant
instruction
through project work, internship training, guest lectures, industrial visits, and
classroom
lectures.
Candidates should choose this course if they have an interest in computers, both software
and
hardware. You can enroll in this program if you desire to create software or mobile
applications that make people's lives easier. Applicants may choose this course if they
plan
to start their own businesses after graduating. It enables them to set up their own
consulting businesses. Those looking to advance their careers or earn a promotion want to
increase their computer expertise.
Admission Procedure
You are eligible to apply even if you are awaiting the results of your qualifying
exam(s).
Such applicants are given provisional admissions and are required to present their
academic
report from the previous school year to verify that they meet the requirements. Your
final
report must be turned in before the deadline for admissions applications. The candidate
will
have one month to submit the qualifying examination mark sheet following the approval of
the
provisional admission. Failure to do so will therefore result in the termination of
provisional admission. If a candidate is given provisional admission under the
aforementioned
circumstances but fails to meet the eligibility requirements or does not receive the
necessary marks, the candidate will not be admitted. The provisional admission is
cancelled
in that situation.
The University will provide the student with an enrolment number after receiving all
proper
documents and fees.
There may be instances where the University's admissions rules may remain applicable.

Careers and Further Studies
After your B.Sc in CS, you can opt out for further studies including M.Sc in Computer
Science. This can be regarded as one of the highest paying BSc specialities because it
can
lead to a variety of occupations and career paths with average annual salaries of about
INR
6 Lakhs.
After getting a BS in computer science, you have a variety of alternatives, including an
MSc,
MCA, MBA, PGDM, and MSc in a particular discipline. You can pursue an MCA if you wish to
establish a profession in IT or software development. If you desire knowledge that can
be
applied in the real world, a PGDM is a better option than an MBA because it is a
