Eligibility

  • Maharashtra State Candidates:
    Educational Qualification:
    • The candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
    Minimum Marks:
    • A minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved categories) or equivalent grade.
    Research Examination:
    • Candidates may be required to qualify in the University Research Entrance Test or possess a valid score in UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / GATE or equivalent examination as per University norms.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Same as Maharashtra State candidates.
    Minimum Marks:
    • Minimum 55% aggregate or equivalent grade.
    Preference:
    • Preference may be given to candidates who have qualified recognised national eligibility tests.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the University.
    Minimum Marks:
    • Minimum 55% aggregate or equivalent grade.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Fulfilment of University guidelines and approval from the Research Advisory Committee.

Admission Procedure

Notification of Admission:
  • Before the commencement of each admission cycle, the University releases an official Ph.D. admission notification. The details are published on the University website and authorised communication platforms.
Application Process:
  • Candidates must submit the prescribed application form within the stipulated deadline along with the required documents and research proposal.

Research Proposal Submission

Applicants must submit a detailed research proposal including research objectives, literature review, methodology and expected outcomes.

Entrance Test / Screening

Candidates may be required to appear for a Research Entrance Test conducted by the University unless exempted as per regulations.

Interview / Viva-Voce

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview before the Research Admission Committee to assess research aptitude and subject knowledge.

Provisional Admission

Selected candidates may be granted provisional admission subject to verification of documents and fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

E
Final Registration

Upon successful completion of admission formalities and fee payment, candidates will be registered as Ph.D. scholars under an approved research supervisor.

  • Aadhaar Card (Candidate and Guardian)

  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • GAP Affidavit (if applicable)
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavit
  • Attendance Affidavit
  • 6–8 recent passport-size photographs (formal attire, taken within the last 3 months)
  • Parent/Guardian signatures on all required forms
