Registration and Verification:
  • The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is mandatory for the CAP and the Institute Level Quota (ILQ) seat categories.
  • For document verification and scrutiny at the e-Scrutiny Centres, please follow the authority's guidelines received after online registration.
  • Only those candidates whose applications are verified by the Facilitation Centers/e-Scrutiny Center shall be eligible in the displayed merit list.
A) CAP Round Admission:

B) Institute Level Quota Admission:
  • The DTE Cell uses the percentile rank to decide the merit number for the 20% Institute Level Quota when preparing the institute's merit list.

How long does a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering take?

A diploma program is 3 years long and broken into 6 semesters.

Candidate must have done his/her 10th grade (or equivalent) with at least a minimum percentage.

Basic Electronics, Circuit Design, Digital and Analogue Communication, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems and Signal Processing are key subjects.

While the programme does include lab work, workshops, and sometimes internships or industry projects in applying and integrating the skills learnt in the course, it does include practical experience with electronic devices and communication systems.

Roles include Electronics Technician, Network Support Technician, RF Technician and Junior Embedded Technician are open to graduation.

So, diploma holders can apply for a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering by lateral entry, which means they can join in 2nd year of the course itself.
