Eligibility

Candidates must have completed a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture or a BSc in Horticulture with a minimum of 55% marks. This applies to both open and reserved categories.

Admission Procedure

Entrance Exams:

1. Admission Tests

Candidates must pass admission tests like UPCATET and GBPUAT. These tests evaluate your proficiency and understanding of topics linked to agriculture.

2. The Application Procedure

  • Registration : To register for the program, go to the university's official website.
  • Submission of the Form : Fill out the application and send it in with the necessary paperwork.
  • Payment : To validate your registration, pay the relevant application charge.

3. Getting ready

Review past exam patterns or syllabi and study the pertinent subjects to ensure you are well-prepared for the admission exams.

4. Getting in

After passing the admission exam, take part in any university-conducted interviews or counselling sessions. Admission is given according to the availability of seats and merit.

University Admission:
  • Candidates must have completed BSc (Hons) Agriculture or BSc Horticulture with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Students awaiting the results of the required qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. Provisional admission will be granted, subject to the submission of the previous year’s mark sheet or School/College certificate as proof of qualification before the specified deadline.
  • The final mark sheet of the qualifying examination must be submitted within one month from the due date of admission.
  • Provisional admission will be forfeited if the candidate fails to meet the qualification criteria or does not provide the required documents within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Admission will be rejected if the candidate:
    • Does not meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Fails to pay the required fees.
    • Submits an incomplete or unsigned application form.
    • Fails to enclose the necessary documents for admission.

Enrolment/Registration numbers will be issued to candidates upon confirmation of admission and payment of the required charges. Admission procedures will adhere to the rules and regulations outlined by the University, subject to periodic updates.

  • BSc (Hons) Agriculture or BSc Horticulture mark sheets (all semesters)
  • Degree or provisional certificate of graduation
  • Entrance exam scorecard (if applicable)

  • Passport-sized photographs (4-6 copies)
