The Joint Entrance Exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) will occur twice this year, in April 2023 and May 2023. The students are eagerly filling out forms for this competitive exam. This year, two sessions will take place one in April and the second in May 2023. JEE exam dates for the year 2023 are given in the table below.

Before the students fill out the NTA JEE Main 2023 application form, they are advised to check if they match the eligibility criteria given by the authorities. The candidates who have successfully registered for JEE Mains 2023 will be able to download their respective admit cards from the official website. The candidates are advised to solve the JEE Main 2023 mock test if they wish to increase their chances to score good grades for JEE Mains 2023. The qualified candidates will be eligible to take part in the counselling process as they opt to gain admission to their desired engineering colleges which accept JEE Main 2023 scores.
The NTA has made several changes for this year's JEE Mains. Given below are the list of new changes levied by the NTA-
For this year, the NTA has also introduced negative marking for section B. Before this, there was no negative marking for the numerical questions.
This year, the number of exam centres for JEE Main 2023 exam has been increased to 501 cities in India itself, and for the centres abroad, the count has reached 13 centres. The eligible candidates are allowed to choose four exam centres as per their preference as they fill out their application form for JEE Mains 2023.
For the year 2023, the NTA will be conducting the JEE Mains 2023 exams in two separate sessions, one in April 2023 and the second in May 2023.
This year, there will be no correction facility provided by the NTA once the candidate submits the application form.

Admission Criteria for IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs | B.Tech:-
For admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, the candidates should have secured a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. |
B.Arch:- Should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent. |
The eligible candidates are required to follow the step by step procedure given below.
The first step consists of filling up the form by providing the basic details about the candidate, such as email address, phone number, and personal details. The Candidates will be required to create a password and answer the security questions for the security of their login id. As they complete their registration, a unique code for their JEE application number will be generated by the system. The candidates are required to save the given registration number as required for all future login requirements.
In this step, the candidates will be required to log in to their accounts using the given generated application number along with their password as they submit all the required details for JEE 2023 application form.
All the relevant documents need to be uploaded in the specified format.

As soon as the candidates make the payment, it is advisable for them to get a printout of the submitted application form along with the payment receipt.

The exam centres allotted by the NTA will contain the list of all the cities where the exam will be held. The candidates have the advantage to select up to four exam centres as per their preference as their fill out the application form for JEE Mains 2023.
