WHAT DOES RPL INCLUDE?
An Academic Procession
The academic procession begins with the distinguished chief guests, professors, Vice Chancellor, and Chairman, all dressed in robes and graduation caps, approaching the dais. This is where they are seated, and students walk up to receive their degrees.
Saraswati Vandana and Lighting of The Lamp
As a sign of respect and devotion to Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, a prayer (Saraswati Vandana) is offered. This is followed by the lighting of a lamp in front of her idol, symbolizing enlightenment and wisdom.
Degree Ceremony
Students approach the stage one by one to receive their degrees in Graduation, Post Graduation, or Doctorate. Those who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance are awarded Gold and Silver medals as a mark of distinction.
Achiver's Award
Every year, one student who has shown exceptional performance across multiple fields such as academics, innovations, research, etc., is honored with the Achiever's Award.
Pledge Administartion
After the degree ceremony, students take a pledge, reaffirming their responsibility and commitment to society and their profession.
National Anthem
The ceremony concludes with the singing of the National Anthem by the students, professors, and distinguished chief guests, marking the official end of the event.
For The Students
Robe Provision
The College provides the robe for the Graduation ceremony. Students are required to deposit money for the robe, which will be refunded upon its return.
Rehearsal Attendance
It is mandatory for students to attend the rehearsal before the ceremony.
Seating Arrangement
Students must sit in the allotted seats during the ceremony.
Decorum and Decency
Maintaining decorum and decency during the ceremony is mandatory.
Verification
Student verification will take place before the graduation ceremony.
No Personal Photography
Students are not allowed to take personal photographs inside the auditorium during the ceremony.
