The eligibilty criteria for MHT CET 2022 registration by the State Common Entrance

Maharashtra has released their eligibility criteria for the year 2022 in addition
with
the official guidelines on the administrative official website.
All the aspiring candidates are required to check if they meet the requirements in
the
eligibility criteria section before they begin to register for the examination.
The
candidates who qualify for the MHT CET then become eligible to opt for various
courses
like B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.E., etc from the top colleges which are affiliated to
Maharashtra's State University.
Besides that, there are a set of other conditions that an applicant
has to satisfy
to be
considered eligible for mht cet application form 2022 admission. It's advised
that the
campaigners go through all the MHT CET 2022 eligibility conditions specified by
the
conducting authorities previous to filling the operation form for the test. All

As per the previous year's MHT CET eligibility criteria, the authorities have
reduced the

MHT CET 2022 General Eligibility Criteria
- The interested applicants are required to meet the below given general
eligibility terms and
conditions in addition to the candidature type criteria to be eligible for
MHT CET 2022.
- Nation- Candidates should be Indian citizens.
- Age limit- There's no age limit for the candidates.
- Qualifying Test- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or original examination
from a honored
board/ university with Drugs, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates
appearing for the
qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
- Qualifying Test Marks- The eligible candidates must have scored at least 45%
in their 10+2 or
original examination. Still, the minimal mark for the candidates from the
reserved category is
40%.
Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admissions
Some applicants can pass the eligibility criteria and proceed for direct admission
without appearing
for the MHT CET, below given are the following categories of the applicants-
- Overseas Nationals.
- Offsprings of NRI/OCI/PIO.
- Offsprings of Indian workers in the Gulf countries.
Candidates aspiring to pursue MBA from Maharashtra, should appear for MHT CET.
Before filling the
application form for MHT CET, applicants should check the eligibility criteria of
MHT CET.
Below mentioned are the highlights of MHT CET eligibility criteria:-
- Applicants must be a Graduate in any discipline (of minimum period three
years) from any
college, institute or university acknowledged by Association of Indian
Universities (AIU).
- General category candidates are eligible to appear for MHT CET only if they
have scored a
minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate (the grand total of all three or four
years of graduation
score which decides the class of the candidate).
- Final year graduation students (Courses 10+2+3) whose result is scheduled to
be declared before
commencement of admission for the academic year are also eligible for
applying for MHT CET.
However, in order to secure final admission to an institute, they need to
qualify the
examination and also score as per the requirements of MHT CET eligibility
criteria.
- If the applicants have been granted grades/CGPA as an alternative for marks,
the conversion of
the same to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by
the
University/Institution from where they have obtained the undergraduate
degree. The percentage of
marks shall be calculated by rounding off to two places after the decimal.
- Only backward class candidates, differently abled and natives of Maharashtra
state, required to
secure at least 45% in aggregate in their graduation.
- Age Limit – There is no age limit for MHT CET applicants as per the MHT CET
eligibility
criteria.
Conditions to Avail the Writer Facility
The official authorities who conduct the MHT CET examinations can allow the
candidates with a
disability condition (more than 40%) to take the assistance of a scribe i.e. a
writer who will write
the paper on their behalf. These candidates also get an added benefit of extra 20
minutes on the
examination.
Few conditions and information required to avail a scribe are given below:
- The applicants who have a low vision, are visually impaired, suffering from
cerebral palsy, or
are enduring any kind of experience which makes it impossible for them to
solve the examination
on their own can opt for this option.
- The applicants are required to find a scribe by themselves, the exam
conducting authorities will
not assign it to them.
- The acknowledgement form for the scribe is to be filled on the official
website of MHT CET and
should be submitted along with their photograph.
- The candidate appearing for the exam is required to submit this
acknowledgement form to the
Venue Officer on the day of the examination before he or she enters the
examination chamber.
- The candidates are required to carry their original certificate which proves
their disability
status along with extra photocopies of the same to the MHT CET examination
center.
